Dr. Lachlan Hooper (Chiropractor)
After graduating from RMIT university in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) (2009) and a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic (Distinction) in 2011, his focus has been on providing outstanding and quality patient care.
Lachlan has expertise in a range of techniques including Diversified (Manual Adjusting), Thompson (Drop Table), SOT (Blocks/Cranial), Activator, Active Release Technique (ART), soft tissue techniques and rehabilitative exercise therapy. He is passionate about working with families, from infants to the elderly, helping them to reach their health and wellness goals.
Lachlan also specialises in treating athletes and those in the fitness industry, enabling them to stay strong, encouraging injury prevention and improving sports performance. He is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP), a Level One Medical Professional with the Titleist Performance Institute and is a Level One Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA).
Lachlan was also appointed as the Queensland Chairman for Sports Chiropractic Australia (2017-2019) which enabled him to coordinate and oversee events such as the Sunshine Coast Ironman 70.3 twice, the Sunshine Coast Marathon, Windsurfing World Championship, Blackall 100, Crossfit Australia/NZ Team Series 2018 and the Asia Pacific Powerlifting Championship. Lachlan also has a dream of working at the World Games or Olympic Games in the years to come.
Lachlan wishes to inspire the wider community to recognise the importance of spinal health and its crucial role in helping maintain well being and longevity. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, reading, hiking and spending time with his family.
