WHAT TO EXPECT

WELCOME AND PAPERWORK

Once you get to our office you will be greeted by one of our friendly and helpful office staff. You will be given some forms to fill out and the staff will request your insurance information.  You can find the forms under the NEW PATIENT PAPERWORK tab on the left. The paperwork will provide us with information about you and your condition. Rest assured that any information you provide us is kept strictly confidential.

CONSULTATION

Next you will have a consultation with Dr. Travis Davis, head chiropractor at Laguna Bay Chiropractic in Noosa, to discuss your health-related conditions, concerns and treatment options that are available. Your first visit is really designed for us to get all the information necessary to decide if you are a candidate for chiropractic care.

EXAMINATION

After the consultation we will perform a physical exam testing your range of motion, reflexes, muscle strength, orthopedic and nerolological tests. Dr. Travis Davis is an AHPRA licensed and USA educated Doctor Of Chiropractic. He is a competent and caring physician who will explain everything he is doing as it is happening. Of course, nothing will be done in our office without first getting your consent.

Chiropractic care

Patients will generally receive care on the first visit. The chiropractic care may consist of spinal adjusting, therapies, soft tissue work and rehabilitative exercises. We never make the patient conform to our form of care. The patient is an individual and so is their condition. We understand this and will vary our care plan to fit your condition and what works well for you.

Following chiro care, you will be given instructions or homework. Remember, we are a team and need you to do your part. We have found that patients primarily have 4 main questions when it comes to their condition.1-What is wrong with me? 2- Can chiropractic care help? 3- How long will I need care? and finally 4- How much money will it cost me?

We will schedule you for a report of findings to discuss your condition and answer all of these questions for you. This will take place at the beginning of your second visit.
